
Baby spinach
Dark green round leaves are distinctive of spinach. Leaves harvested young are called baby spinach while larger, more developed leaves are called spinach or food spinach. The flavour is distinctive, somewhat earthy or irony.
Enjoy spinach raw or cooked. Baby spinach is great for use in salads, on sandwiches and as a garnish. Adult spinach is better for cooking since it tolerates heat better.
Best stored wrapped at 1 to 4 °C.
