Wax beans

The pods are yellowish-white, round, and thick-walled. Wax beans are sweet and mild with a supple texture.

The beans work well paired with meat, in salads, white and brown stews, soups and gratins. Wax beans are boiled whole or sliced. Remove the chewy string and cut the tops off, boil for 3-5 minutes, then rinse with cold water to avoid over boiling. 

Best stored at 5 to 7 °C.
