Sunflower shoots (Helianthus annuus)

The sunflower shoot carries two dark green leaves at the top of the white stem. The stems are crispy and quite juicy with a pronounced flavour.

Sunflower shoots pair perfectly with other sprouts, shoots or vegetables in salads, on sandwiches and in warm meals. For example, a wok. You can use the whole shoot.

Best stored wrapped at 1 to 4 °C.
