Beetroot

The inside of the beetroot is beautifully red. The reddish leaves are abundant. Pronounced beetroot flavour.

You can pickle beetroots, make a soup from them or eat them raw, grated. As a tender early vegetable, it is delicious boiled with butter. 

Best stored at 1 to 3 °C.
