Scallion

Scallion looks like a baby leek and lacks a fully developed bulb. It has a mild onion flavour and the whole onion, including the roots, can be used.

The mild onion flavour of the scallion works well with many dishes. Scallion can be used in salads, soups or paired with fish and meat dishes. It is widely used in woks in the Asian cuisine.   

Best stored at 1 to 3 °C.
