Chinese cabbage

In Sweden, napa cabbage is sometimes referred to as Chinese cabbage. The chinese cabbage has an oval head and the leaves are light green. The leaves and stems are crisp with a mild cabbage flavour.

Chinese cabbage works well raw in salads or lightly boiled as a side dish. Napa cabbage is very popular in the Asian cuisine, where it is stir-fried or used for kimchi.

Best stored at 1 to 4 °C.
