Beneforte®

Beneforte®, has been developed by crossing traditional commercial broccoli and a wild Italian kind. The ability of the wild broccoli to produce high levels of the phytonutrient glucoraphanin has been transferred to Beneforte®. We also find it delicious.

A major research project was initiated in 2013 in partnership with our farmers and SLU to investigate how the Swedish growing conditions affect the levels of glucoraphanin and other substances in Beneforte® compared to traditional broccoli.
