
Romanesco
Romanesco is a cross between cauliflower and broccoli. It is similar in shape to the cauliflower, but the flowers are light green and star-shaped. The flavour is mild like that of the cauliflower.
Like cauliflower, romanesco can be enjoyed boiled or raw. Romanesco works well in white stews, gratins and soups. Also, excellent for garnish.
Best stored at 2 to 4 °C.
