
Corn
Corn cobs are rows of tightly packed yellow kernels, growing along a central core. The cobs are covered with green husks. The flavour is mild and sweet.
Freshly harvested corn can be eaten directly off the cob, grilled, used in salads, white stews, soups or brown stews. They are typically boiled in lightly salted water.
Best stored at 1 to 3 °C.
