Hokkaido

Hokkaido also goes by the name uchiki kuri. Fig-shaped with bright orange skin, this little pumpkin has dark yellow pulp and a small seed cavity. Slightly sweet and nutty flavour.

Hokkaido works well in purees, gratins and soups. Also, delicious baked. 

Best stored at 7 to 10 °C.
