
Black Raddish
Daikon are much larger than radishes and completely white to pale yellow in colour. The distinctive fresh and bitter flavour that comes from mustard oils is similar in both flavour and texture to radishes.
Daikon works well raw in salads, on sandwiches or as a side dish, but also in stir-fried meals and in brown stews. Daikon can also be used to make pickles with salt and other spices.
Best stored in a refrigerator at 2 to 4 °C.
