
Garlic sprouts (Allium sativum)
Garlic sprouts are sprouted garlic seeds. They are crisp, thin and green with black heads. The sprouts are juicy with a pronounced garlic flavour and aroma.
Since the flavour is very pronounced, it is often mixed with alfalfa sprouts or used in small quantities to add a fresh and pleasant garlic touch to salads, sandwiches and warm meals.
Best stored wrapped at 1 to 4 °C.
